‘Breaking Amish’ star arrested in White Township

A reality TV star got a dose of reality early today when he ran afoul of the law, according to police.
“Breaking Amish” star Jeremiah H. Raber, 35, is accused of yelling derogatory curse words at state police this morning from a vehicle while leaving a traffic stop in White Township.
Police said in a report that Raber was the passenger of the vehicle they pulled over around 2:40 a.m.
As the driver pulled away, Raber was hanging out of the window yelling the obscenities at troopers, according to reports. Police did not specify the location of the traffic stop.
Police followed the vehicle and found it parked in a driveway along Mansfield Avenue, police said.
Troopers said Raber was outside of the vehicle and screaming at the driver, who had just driven Raber home from Boomerangs Bar.
Raber was placed under arrest, and police said they will file charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct in Homer City District Court.
“Breaking Amish” will premiere for its fourth season on May 31.
The TLC show follows former Amish and Mennonite men and women as they leave their native communities and experience the wider world.
